Edward Peter Lustig

Ed Lustig is a graduate of the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and Queen's University with a Bachelor of Laws Degree. After articling for the General Counsel of the Toronto Transit Commission, he was called to the Bar with First Class Honours in 1975.

Ed joined the Legal Department of the City of Niagara Falls in April of 1975 and worked as City Solicitor until June of 1990. As City Solicitor he was responsible for managing the legal affairs of the City of Niagara Falls. In June 1990, he was appointed Chief Administrative Officer of the City with responsibility for overall management of all departments of the City. He retired from this position in 2002.

In February of 2002, the City of Niagara Falls together with the Niagara Parks Commission, Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation and Falls Management Company engaged Ed to direct the development of a proposed new transportation system to link the various attractions within Niagara Falls and the Niagara Parks' Queen Victoria Park. He joined Broderick & Partners as counsel on January 1st, 2006 and carries on a general law practice with particular emphasis on municipal law, planning and development matters, commercial and real estate law and related litigation.

Ed has been a Member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Canadian Bar Association since 1975 and hastaught law courses at Niagara College. He is also a Member of the American Public Transportation Association and is a Director on the Board of Directors of the Niagara Health System Foundation.
